The history and management of The Towers of Chestnut Hill

History

The Towers of Chestnut Hill were constructed in 1978 – 1979. The South building was completed and opened before the North building. The Towers were originally an apartment complex called The Chestnut Hill Gardens. The Towers were converted to condominiums and renamed in 1981. The Towers consist of 423 residential units. The buildings accommodate over 600 residents. The Towers are located on 17 acres of land.

Management

The Towers is managed by Barkan Management Company, the largest provider of residential property management services in New England. Founded in 1964, Barkan has grown to manage upwards of 13,000 units covering over 90 properties housing nearly 90,000 residents. To learn more about Barkan, please visit their web site.

From Rt. 9 West (Wellesley / Framingham): 1. Take MA-9 East / Worcester St. toward Newton / Boston. 2. About 1/8 mile after you pass Atrium Mall on your right side, turn right to Hammond Pond Pkwy. 3. At the end of the ramp, turn right at the stop sign. 4. Make a U-turn on Hammond Pond Pkwy and go straight under the bridge (Rt. 9) 5. At the first stop light, turn left to the Chestnut Hill Mall, The Towers. 6. Follow the blue signs to The Towers.
From Rt. 9 East (Boston / Brookline): 1. Take MA-9 West / Boylston St. toward Newton. 2. About 1/4 mile after Star Market, turn slight right onto Hammond Pond Pkwy. 3. At the end of the ramp, turn right at the stop sign. 4. At the first stop light, turn left to the Chestnut Hill Mall, The Towers. 5. Follow the blue signs to The Towers.
